In memory of Fiona Wheeler, who died after a protracted illness on 18th December 2019 aged only 35.

Beyond her successful legal practice, Fiona was committed to enabling the development of children through so many different channels. Just some examples are: Guiding, Independent Visitor Scheme for children in care, Camp America, talking about higher education to children in disadvantaged areas, apprenticeship schemes, and not least, all the young people in her circle of family and friends. She always had time for children and had the ability to respond to their needs at their level with great wisdom, humour and energy.

The Fiona Wheeler Foundation, set up by Burnside Partnership (the law firm she helped establish), will focus on charities and projects that further Fiona’s values and interests to enable young people reach their potential.
